No Time Like the Present

I've missed you! It's been a month since I've last written and I could come up with a million reasons why I'm too busy to reach out, AND, honestly, I just don't want to anymore! The truth is I enjoy channeling wisdom and sharing what I receive with you in the hopes that it is of service. So that means I have to face up to my fear of not being able to decide what to write about.

Hang on though, because I have had 3 different messages! And they feel valuable to me...

So, behind that fear is another one that says 'I won't write well enough to convey the message'. But on reflection that's not really true! So, behind that fear is another one that says 'who am I to share channeled wisdom?' And, 'maybe it's just about me'.

And then there's, 'well I waited so long to write, maybe it's too late...'

Whew! Step out of my monkey mind for a moment and take a breath of fresh air!! Yikes! It really does happen to us all, falling in that hole...

So, here they are, in my bold movement to deny self-judgement (really based on other's opinions of me...) and embrace the truth of who I am:

1 - Know the truth of who you are ;-)

Events of the past centuries have us looking with greater clarity at who we are, what matters to us, what would we like in our life, how we would like to live it. And to do so, we've got to know the truth of who we are.

Don't allow yourself to be hamstrung by others people's doubts and limiting beliefs about who you are, what you are capable of, what you should do, and how you should do it.

We've go to let go of the 'should's' to see ourselves clearly. Life isn't about creating a copy of another's world (think fashion trends, popular careers, latest home styles and more), rather it's about living with integrity and alignment with your essential self.

2 - Recognize the inherent sacredness of something already there, versus something made sacred by another.

Look at what you believe is important. Is it really? Or were you told it should be? Can you make it your own, or is there some other importance to you? Are you looking through your lens, or another's lens? Is it through the eyes of Soul, or allowance, or is it through the eyes of comparison, judgement and criticism? Do you observe yourself with curiosity? If you're not sure, look in the mirror - first thought that pops in to your head???

It's a good time to be asking ourselves these questions and listening for what shows up. Not because we need to hear/know the answer, but because we need to be open to the possibilities that there is so much more than we are living or seeing or sensing right now and how do we get a piece of that! Only by being You and recognizing your inherent sacredness as part of the mystery.

3 - Now isn't the time to be rash, or rush in to choices or decisions. We are not working against time, but rather in time, with the focus on alignment and integrity. It's a totally different energetic.

We need to shift to the feelingness of a thing.

Everything is energy and as energetic beings ourselves we are all part of this tapestry. Everything around us is ebbing and flowing, waxing and waning, expanding and contracting. It's fluid. When we approach choices or decisions from a fixed point of view of a desired outcome, as if that was the penultimate success, we are limiting the endless possibilities of the Universal expression of our desires.

Say what?!

Forget the 5 year goal list, and the things you will put on it. Instead, get clear on how you want to feel. Consider for a moment, that what will bring you the greatest ease, joy and glory in the future, is how you feel about it. So take some time to explore the feelingness of that which you desire.

Full disclosure here: I have long struggled with decision making (my parents are shaking their heads here). Ever since I was a child, even picking a flavor at Baskin Robbins (they had to have 32!). Pick a topic for the science fair.... choose a major...Set goals for 5, 10, 15 years... sheer terror! Who knew that?? (I was the person doodling on her arm for lack of any other distraction).

And then, in my middling years ;-) Eureka! I got it. What I do know is how I want to feel. I want to feel ease, joy, and glory. Period. End of story. And whatever brings more of that feeling, I'm a 'hell, yes!' girl. Look at the myriad of possibilities available to me that I don't have to control or be specific about!!!

So, going forward, my encouragement for you is, explore how you want to feel. Spend 5-15 minutes/day (or more!) allowing the feelingness of what you would like in to your awareness, in to your being. And apply this to every situation that arises. If the feelings a match, go for it! If not, keep moving.

Wishing you much ease, joy, and glory as you play with what it is to be an infinite being. And much patience, passion, and grace as you do so.

Rachel
